We all have important values and ideas, things we care about and want to share. Sometimes we feel our ideas can even change
the world, and we want to let other people know how they can join in and make all our lives better.
Charter Grand Knight Frank Mercuri began the first Italian council in Hamilton. It has now grown to 140 members and is
based at St. Anthony of Padua parish. The council runs several events that they are very proud of, such as the
annual Blue Mass for Police, Fire fighters, Ambulance Services and others who serve Hamilton in similar ways. In
2004 they resumed the tradition of hosting a Grey Cup Dinner which has been held since the early 1960s to raise funds for
the parish and charitable causes.
